Our article in the Biokémia journal: peptide synthesis at Solid Science
· László Molnár · Publications, Peptides
The September 2026 issue (volume 50, issue 3) of Biokémia, the open-access journal of the Hungarian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (MBKE), features an article about our work. In the "Hazai tudományos műhelyek" (Domestic scientific workshops) section, our co-founders László Molnár and Soma Ránky present how Solid Science approaches peptide synthesis. The article is written in Hungarian and includes an English summary.

What the article covers
- RevoPSy, our compact, research-oriented automated solid-phase peptide synthesizer. It runs up to six parallel syntheses with standard reagents and solvents, and every coupling, washing and deprotection step can be adapted to the sequence and to what you observe during the synthesis. It is well suited to peptide variants, optimization series and small peptide libraries, and its working principle avoids lengthy, solvent-intensive cleaning between syntheses.
- Real results. RevoPSy has synthesized around 100 different peptides so far. The article shows a 14-residue example with its HPLC chromatogram and mass spectra of the crude and the purified peptide.
- Custom peptide synthesis for groups that do not need an instrument of their own: non-natural amino acids, labels, cyclized and disulfide-containing peptides and other research modifications, with the synthesis strategy adapted together with you when a sequence is difficult.
- Free trial synthesis. Research groups interested in in-house peptide synthesis can try RevoPSy with their own sequence, with expert support.
